My name is Milica, and I am a mother of four. Long before mili hleb had a name, it was simply the bread on our family's table — mixed late at night, shaped in the early morning, and shared warm with butter while the children got ready for school.
Sourdough taught me patience. A living starter, flour, water, salt, and time — nothing more. Each dough ferments slowly for many hours, which gives the bread its gentle tang, its deep flavor, and a crumb that is soft and easy to enjoy.

Friends and neighbors began asking for a loaf of their own, and then another. Little by little, my kitchen became a small home bakery. I still bake the same way: every loaf mixed, folded, and shaped by my own hands.
Because I bake at home, I only make a handful of loaves each day. That is why we ask you to preorder — so that every loaf is baked for someone, and nothing goes to waste.

In Serbian, mili hleb means "dear bread" — the kind you break with the people you love. That is what I hope each loaf brings to your home.
